PDAs

Personal digital assistant (PDA), also known as pocket computer or palmtop computer, is a handheld computer that was originally designed as a personal organizer, but became much more versatile over the years. There are many uses of PDA’s: calculation, use as a clock and calendar, accessing the Internet, sending and receiving E-mails, video recording, typewriting and word processing, address books, making and writing on spreadsheets, listening to music, playing computer games, and Global Positioning Systems (GPS). Newer PDA’s have both color screens and audio capabilities, enabling them to be used as mobile phones (smartphones), web browsers, or portable media players. Many PDAs can access the Internet, intranets or extranets via Wi-Fi, or Wireless Wide-Area Networks.

Well, having a PDA is one of the many things I really want. I actually always check Buy.com often to see great deals on PDA’s. One of my favorite is HP iPAQ 210 Enterprise Handheld — by Hewlett Packard. What I really like about this is it’s wide screen and powerful processor. I just hope one day, I will be able to buy this. *Crossed fingers*
