Tap, Bottled or Purified?

Posted on September 4, 2010 by

Haven’t you heard that drinking tap water can actually harm your health? Nowadays, tap water (also known as running water, city water, municipal water) is so unsafe to drink since it has proven that there are one hundred forty different harmful chemicals in our water supply today for which the EPA has done nothing to get rid of.

Tap water is so full of disease-causing contaminants. Oh my. So after knowing this, I bet you would just choose bottled water instead. Hey wait! Drinking bottled water is much worse. It is not only quite expensive, it is often just as contaminated as your tap water. Yes, you read it right.

According to FDA rules, bottled water is subject to less testing and lower standards than our tap water. Even disinfection is not a requirement for bottled water. A 4-year NRDC scientific study on bottled water, based on 1000 bottles of 103 brands of water confirmed that bottled water is not necessarily cleaner or safer than common tap water.

If you think there is no other option, well guess what? There is still purified water. Oh yes! I suggest you to try one of the top water purifiers on the market (just to be really sure). I’m talking here about the eSpring water purifier. Water from this is much safer than tap water (or bottled water), since it dramatically improves the taste, odor and clarity of water, and while other systems treat drinking water, eSpring purifies it.
